Flux-cored
wire can be designed for different
purpose(wear-resisting, high-strength, heat-resisting, corrosion-resisting, low
temperature-resisting etc.) very easily by adjusting the types and proportions
of the
alloy components of the wire. Because the alloy components are flexible
and easy to be adjusted, the solid wires which can’t smelt and roll to make the
types of flux-cored wires. At the same time,
the flux-cored wires have more advantages on the welding processing and welding
efficiency than those solid wires and manual electrodes due to its special
structures.
In order to fit for
the special requirements of the valve industry, combining with the
characteristics of the flux-cored wires, different types of the wires were
developed for different size workpieces and different welding conditions.
The commonly used wires are shown in the table (if customers have special surfacing welding process requirements can be customized)
